The city of Ordos, in the middle of China, was build for a milion people yet remains completely empty. Ordos is not so much a place but a symbol of babylonic hype. But nothing will change as long as people believe.

A matryoshka family, led by an over-protective mother, find themselves on a desk full of playful wooden toys. Wary of strangers, Mother Matryoshka distances her family from the other toys. However, the curiosity and openness of the youngest member of the family, Little Matryoshka, will lead them into an adventure that will change them all.
