Synopsis
In the 1960s, Sobota was known as the most notorious pimp in Vienna’s red-light-district. Later he became the author of one of the top-selling and most demonized Austrian autobiographies. What is left of him today, over thirty years after the publishing of his memoirs?

Marie Elisa ScheidtMarie Elisa Scheidt is a documentary filmmaker born in Dresden in 1987 and currently based in Berlin. Her short films frequently explore the borderland between documentary and fiction and deal with themes like memory, social image, intimacy and the construction of identity. Since 2008 Elisa has been studying documentary film in Munich and Toronto.
