Synopsis

Two Mexican women live in the shadows since their asylum claims were denied. Undocumented, they manage to get by while clinging to the hope of regularizing their status so they can carry on with the lives they have built in Canada over the years.
"Invisibles" highlights the courage and resilience of Alma and Mia, whose stories reflect the reality of thousands of Mexican asylum seekers who are currently living without status and under the constant threat of deportation, despite of their integration and active contribution to Canadian society.
