    Originally from Centre-du-Québec, Lisanne Gamelin stands out with a rich and diverse background in filmmaking and screenwriting. After completing a DEC in Cinema at Dawson College and a Bachelor’s degree at Concordia University, she earned a diploma in screenwriting from Toronto Film School in 2023. Her feature screenplay, Planted, Not Yet Buried, was a quarterfinalist in the 2025 ScreenCraft Horror Competition. She also wrote Knocked Down, a bilingual short film selected at TIFF 2025, where she served as screenwriter, co-director, and producer. With experience on major sets such as Anticosti, Double Jeu, and Bon Cop, Bad Cop, she continues to refine her artistic vision by participating in Course des régions, presenting her short mockumentary Maimed (V.F. L’estropié) on November 29th in Magog.
