Synopsis

After the death of her husband, 70-year-old Rosabella moves in with her daughter Ruth, along with her granddaughter Romy. Barely settled, she decides to confront her greatest fear: water. Closer to death than to life, and determined to leave this world without regrets, she embarks on a journey to reconcile with her past. After an initial attempt, she reaches a breaking point. However, one morning, an unexpected and unsettling visitor pushes her to face both the water and her inner demons.

    Kimberley Ann is a Haitian-Canadian filmmaker from Quebec. After starting her career in production, she turned to directing. Her short documentaries, including Envers et Contre Tout and Nourrir les Rêves (HotDocs, Crave), and The Relay (CBC, Radio-Canada), earned her a Gémeaux Award nomination. She is now writing fiction and is developing two feature films and a series.
