When a lantern lights up on a country road in the jungle a group of insects go crazy. This comes in
handy for the hungry bats in a cave nearby.

Lena Von DöhrenLena von Döhren, born in Berlin in 1981, grew up with three brothers. After two years of traveling, she studied audiovisual communication in Amsterdam and animation in Lucerne. Her graduation film “Der kleine Vogel und das Blatt” premiered at the Berlinale in 2012, followed by further films and “Tümpel” (2023). Her poetic children’s films have won over 30 awards, including the “Goldener Spatz.”
