Juanjo Giménez was born and lives in Barcelona. He has directed numerous short films, many of which have been awarded at national and international festivals. He has won awards in Rome, Las Palmas and Ourense for his feature film "Tilt" in 2003. He is also the founder of the production companies Nadir Films and Salto de Eje.
