Synopsis

Maïté, 5 years old, loves playing witch at her grandma’s house, surrounded by lively nature. With her turtle friend Majie, she makes potions and magic spells. But one day, something upsetting happens and breaks her peace. Confused and feeling guilty, her magical world starts to fall apart.

    Actor, screenwriter, and director, Ève Saint-Louis earned a BA in theatre and stage directing from Université Laval before training at Cours Florent in Paris. Her debut short, LA TRAVERSÉE, premiered at SXSW in 2021. She followed with TOUT CE QUI GRONDE and PETITE SORCIÈRE, and is now developing her first feature film.

  • Clara Grande

    Born in Montreal, Clara Grande studied arts at the Freies Jugendseminar in Stuttgart before training in acting at the Actéon theatre school in Arles, France, where she lived for four years. Back in Quebec, she earned a BA in screenwriting and literary creation at Université de Montréal. In 2024, she published UN JARDIN L’HIVER. PETITE SORCIÈRE is her first short film.
